– Gerald Hodges – V.P. of Operations, Legistlative Affairs/Community Inclusion
Gerald serves as an Assistant to the City Manager responsible for community inclusion and legislative affairs. Gerald previously served in law enforcement for 15 years, ten with Grand Prairie Police Department and five with another agency. During his tenure as an officer, he has served as a school resource officer, detective and in many community programs. Prior to law enforcement, Gerald spent nine years in education and the social services profession. During that time, Gerald worked with drug prevention support groups from South Dallas to Highland Park and was an assistant principal for charter schools in South Oak Cliff and Fort Worth. Gerald is currently on the Grand Prairie ISD Justice and Equity Task Force. He often speaks to youth and presents on various topics related to community engagement/inclusion. While serving with Takesha on the Grand Prairie Police Department, it was apparent to him the dedication Takesha Dye had for the youth and the practical ways she wanted to serve them. Since then, Gerald has served with the Td Foundation since its inception.

Having spent 35+ years in public education in four school districts in Texas, I know the value for students of having positive adult role models and opportunities to widen their horizons, travel to new places and enjoy new adventures. – Sonnia Ortega – Connections Coordinator
Sonnia is committed to helping disadvantage youth to find advantages in helping their
community. Gaining life experiences; self-worth, confidence, and positive mind skills while giving back to the community.
– Terrence Harbin – Economic Development Coordinator
Terrence Ra’mond Harbin is a lifelong Texan who received his Bachelor of Arts in
Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and his Master of Public Administration – Local Government and Financial Management from the University of Texas at Arlington. Yes! He’s a lifelong Maverick! Currently, Terrence serves as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Grand
Prairie, Texas, and is an active board member for the TD Foundation. Terrence has
served as the Economic Development Coordinator for two years and continues to
pursue his passion and love of service, community, and becoming a City Manager.
Terrence believed service to others is the most significant way to demonstrate
community and looks forward to a lifetime of service.
– VanDella Menifee – Fundraising, Community Connections Coordinator
VanDella has dedicated her time in retirement to the betterment of her community. She
currently serves as the fundraising and community connections coordinator with TD
Foundation. VanDella has a passion for changing lives in her community.
